Lightly toasted after lovingly procured from its heartlands with this cacao received as a bean from one of our 4 partner family farms. Each bean is sun-kissed, dried and fermented with the ancient wisdom of her lands and her people.
The beans are then transported to the local women’s collective on the very shores of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala where they are lovingly and attentively fire-toasted, hand-peeled and pressed to a fine paste.
Packaged up by the tribe at Holy Wow Cacao these rounds of this loving cacao have been sent on its loving way across the seas. It comes to you via the hands and hearts from where and how this cacao is cultivated. Carrying with it the wisdom of ancient knowledge and connection.

Suchitepequez
A farm that has the notes of the coast. This unique farm is completely owned and operated by a women’s collective. With it’s salty notes and feminine balance, we think this is a good one for the person looking for a helper in the sweeter notes of the heart.
Tasting Notes:
– Mix of sweet, sour & salty
– Strong, creative, feminine spirit
Rio Dulce
A swampy river that runs through northern Guatemala. Wet humid climates is what this Cacao loves, and there is a lot of this here in this lush jungle and river on which this single origin farm grows.
Tasting Notes:
– More Cacao Butter than most
– Hints of cherries
– Sweet and grounded
Alta Verapaz
From the jungles in the far north of Guatemala. This is also a collective of micro-family-farms that create an interesting mixture of beans that is definitely not “single origin,” but has the strength found in diversity.
This region is famous the world over for its Cacao. This is also the largest region of Mayan ruins in existence, where they used to covet Cacao as Food of the Gods, a monetary resource, and ceremonial drink for every occasion.
Tasting Notes:
– Most “chocolate-y” of the bunch
– Hard to pinpoint, on the tip of our tongue
Las Victorias
A region from close to the coast. This farm has been in the family for over 50 years. They grow completely organic and this source we can say is 100% single origin (not a collective like two of our other regions.)
Taste notes:
– Earthy & Bold
– More “toast-y” than the rest
– Grown within sight of the great Mt. Fuego volcano, erupting daily, NBD
Serve your cacao up with intention in circle, use it to sit in meditation or wake up your morning warrior, add it into your day to day nourishment, make chocolate, smoothies and hot chocolate, bake a cake, & do you!
This “Food of the Gods” is as good as it gets.
Each block comes with the Warrior Sit & Sip Recipe to make a cup powerful enough for ceremony & balancing enough for that ritual-shifting morning coffee alternative you may be seeking. Select from one of our 4 Regions. Each is unique yet comparable.
